scope base
Talley rings and scope bases are synonymous with quality. Just what I thought it would be. Perfect fit on my Savage F class. what else can you say about an item as simple as a base. tally is some of the good stuff at a decent price.
Simple and well made
I mounted this on a Weatherby Vanguard I bought for my son and it fit great. The base was machined well and fit the curvature of the barrel with no gaps. It is tall enough to allow for the use of short or med. height scope mounts. I used med. height scope mounts for a 44 mm objective lens scope, and would have had plenty of clearance to mount a 50-52 mm objective lens scope. My only minor complaint is I think these type of products should have a spare mounting screw just in case, and this did not.

Tally base mount
I ordered a few different things for my Winchester model 70 22-50 caliber the other day that included a new scope,tally base mount and rings. The base plate wasn’t the right one. I call OpticsPlanet and receive the right one in 3 days. They emailed me a return label for other base to be returned. Great service with friendly customer service. Works Great
Bought this for a Weatherby Vanguard MeatEater Edition short action rifle and it mounted right on top so I would mount my scope rings to it. Worked great.

Picatanny_Base
This seems OK. Have to try it out to see how it actually does. Sometimes empty cartridges hit the crosspiece on these and can jam a rifle. However, can use a variety of optical devices or even a peep sight with this. Thanks.

Quality base for your Howa M1500
A nicely made base that works for short action (308 Winchester) type bolt action rifles. It fits well and needed no epoxy for bedding. Even if you placed the rail on the rifle with no screws attached and tried to wiggle it, it won't move because it matches the rifle profile so well. I degreased all the thread holes and screws and used blue Loctite on the screw threads. Unfortunately Talley does not give torque recommendations for the screws. I used 15 in/lbs on the screws to attach the rail to the gun. I have not mounted optics or used the gun yet. I will see if this mount stays in position and doesn't loosen over time.

Talley bases are the real deal
The Talley picatinny rail fit perfectly, the screws are high quality and the machine work is excellent. Talley has been my go-to ring and base product set for many years and they continue to inmpres with every product.

SAKO A7 6.5 Long Range
I put this on my Sako A7 Long Range and it fit perfectly. I had no issues mounting it to the rifle. There was no color differences between the mount and the rifle. Built very sturdy and I should never have a problem with the mount

Scope base
I would not recomend buying this item . It was too long to fit my Stery ProHunter . It was way to long to be a long action base . In order to fit my gun , I has to cut the middle out of rail to make it a 2 piece and tap holes to fit receiver. I would of sent it back if I did not need it when I did.
