Bomb Proof Solution for my Marlin Dark Series 45-70

Used these guys on my Marlin Dark Series 45-70 build with Vortex Strike Eagle. Slim steal construction contours perfectly on the Marlin pic rail. Torqued top screws to 18in lbs, shooting LEVERevolution 45-70 325g FTX and Subs. Solid hold - perfect set up!

Bad design for Q/D

Bad design, as soon as you loosen the lever far enough to remove from the rail, the screw usually falls out, and then you have have to reassembly it. Heavy duty rings just don't work well for quick detachment, permanent install would be fine.

TALLEY is my first and last choice! All my rifles have TALLEY gear on them. I won't hunt big game in Idaho without TALLEY gear. The quick release rings make for easy exchange of optics within my short action and long action rifles and are always on zero after the remounting!
