Okie D's Review of Talley Steel Base
Perfect fit on my Sako Model 85. The ring mounts are a solid foundation with the Talley Rings. Very easy to install. I have no concerns on the performance of these mounts as I have had the Talley rings and mounts on another rifle for several years. Will purchase this system again on future rifle purchases.
Pros:
- simple to install
- rock solid
- engineered for perfect fit
Cons:
- pricey, but worth it
Best Used for:
- Excellent alternative to Sako Optilock system
