Talley Bases NOT Weaver/Picatinny Compatible
This Base fits my Sako rifle just fine - But it does NOT fit standard Weaver-style scope rings! It is narrow, like for a .22 ring set. Good quality base though; and has that complicated Sako taper. We had to buy a cheap set of .22 rings to finish the job and mount the scope. But who in their right mind puts .22 rings on a nice center-fire Sako with a nice scope?!
Solid piece!
The mount seems very solid and well made. Waiting for the rings to arrive, then a range test. I am hoping the alignment between the front and rear of the mount are spot on without the need of any shims. This is a past flaw that should’ve been corrected by now.

Best bases on the market
Talley rings and bases are my go to for mounting a scope. Clean lines and unobtrusive. And lock up like a vault yet never left a mark on a scope.Have them on more than 40 rifles ranging from 22lr to 458 win mag. Never had a scope move no matter the recoil. When using the quick detach rings the scope returns back to zero when remounting.

Stainless bases used for Ruger American rimfire stainless target rifle
They work great. I used these on a stainless Ruger American rimfire target 22 long rifle.I called Talley and was told these will work. I love having stainless bases and rings on a stainless gun. I used them to mount a Leupold 6x20 scope that focuses in close.The low rings allowed the scope to mount nice and low. Works perfect. I used quick detach rings.

top quality
Top quality product. Best bases and rings i have used. Fit like a glove and look very nice. Talley is the best i have found. They are precision machined and made out of a harder steel than most. I used on a hard kicking 300 RUM with no problems what so ever. You wont regret this purchase.

Rock Solid Talley Mounts
Perfect fit on my Sako Model 85. The ring mounts are a solid foundation with the Talley Rings. Very easy to install. I have no concerns on the performance of these mounts as I have had the Talley rings and mounts on another rifle for several years. Will purchase this system again on future rifle purchases.

17 cal optic base
This base works perfect on the bolt 17. The finish matched the gun receiver perfectly. The optic mounted perfectly. This is a quality product that i am thankful i installed. The holes were aligned for easy installation. Fit and finish are perfect.
