Poor machining - Talley Tactical Rifle Scope Rings

The machining quality of things rings was substandard. The crossbones weren't even centered. Who cares but its an indication of lack of attention to detail. The real problem is how poorly the contact surface of the bottom of the ring where it meets the top rail was machined. They left an island right between and a little past the recoil lugs. The way this ring works is it contact the bottom of the 45's on the rail and the top of the rail. That means its either going to teeter totter on that 3 thou island OR its going to imprint it right into your rail.
