Talley Canyon rings
Finally received ring set direct from Talley.
Took a bit longer but worth wait.
Quality and craftsmanship 1st rate.
Be aware that the medium set is plenty high for 30mm tube and 50mm objective.
Originally saw reference for medium rings correct for 30mm tube and 44mm objective
but the low set will be spot on.
Torque specs a bit blurry and you will need an extra long bit to spec out the top screw
hole as it is taller or deeper than the back hole
Ordered wrong size
Return was flawless. I had wrong info on my end when ordered. No issue with return and refund.

Sweet Rings
For a He11's Canyon LR and a Vortex Viper with a 44mm objective. Outside of the objective measures 2.090. Low rings leave .160 clearance between the bell and barrel. Looks nice and sits low. Factory caps, the removable kind with the elastic cord between front and rear, fit easily. Glad I didn't get the mediums.
I measured Butler Creek cap outer thickness and got .160. I may try these. May need to sand the cap a little for clearance.
I have an Athlon Ares with 50mm objective measuring 2.260". This would not fit with caps of any kind and would only theoretically clear the barrel by only .002". Go medium for 50mm objectives.
Keep in mind that this rifle is the LR and has a heavier barrel than the regular He11's Canyon Speed, which has a lighter and shorter barrel. The regular Speed will have slightly more clearance but likely not enough more to matter.

Talley always top quality
I only use these Talley aluminum machined rings and they are top quality an no need to lap. I have these mounted on a Ruger American predator, Tikka t3x super light , Savage b-mag target and Browning xbolt canyon speed.

Talley Rings
The color match on the burnt bronze cerakote was perfect with the browning burnt bronze. The mounting holes were perfect as well. My only complaint was the back mount leaned to the left a little and the front mount to the right after they were tight on the action. I was still able to mount the scope level. Medium height rings worked well for my leupold vx-6hd 3-18x50mm.

Talley rings are the best
I cannot count the number of times I've thrown my rifle in the back set of the truck. It has never affected my scope settings. Has always shot as accurate as the day I zeroed it in. Talley can stand up to the beatings that any hard hunting gives them.

I have several sets of these and they are top of the line. Talley has and continues to provide excellent quality products. OpticsPlanet sold me a great product for a fair price. Perfect rings
Color of the rings matched absolutely perfect. The height selection was also perfect for my vortex pst 50mm scope. You could not ask for a better quality of workmanship they fit absolutely perfect holes and screws dead on.

Perfect Match
The color matches the Barrel perfectly. The mounts are very strong. I am sure that they will stay true to aiming for a very long time. I have these of 4 of my rifles and are the only thing that made me switch I use talley's to this day.

Talley X Bolt Scope Rings
These rings fit very well and lined up fairly well even before lapping them in. The only thing I didn’t like about them was the fact that two of the base screw holes ran through where the scope actually rests, allowing lapping compound to get in there and into the head of the base bolts. This was simply more of an inconvenience than anything when it came to cleaning the bolts and rings out, rather than actually affecting the functionality of the rings.
