Great addition to the Ruger 10/22. Solves the difficult problem of locking back the bolt. Nice ergonomics and positive feel ensuring the lock is fully engaged. You will need to remove the knurled knob when removing the receiver from the stock, but easily done with an allen key.

Item received doesn't match picture. This is the second one I have purchased. The knurled knob screws onto a threaded boss, about a thread and a half, time will tell how long it will last, frequently removed for cleaning, don't have great expectations. Easy to install works fantastic. Will be buying one for every 1022 I have. I would recommend to anyone with a 10/22. would be a perfect an anion with it extended magazine, release lever. and perfect for use on public ranges.

Well made and easy to install

Its a simple design that allows for bolt lock back with ease. Very simple to install and Tandemkross has several Youtube videos out on the step by step procedure. I am a little concerned at the shortness of the threads on the knob handle, looks like it may loosen up and fall off over time. I added a bit of blue locktite on it to ensure it doesnt get lost. Overall a great cheap upgrade to a Ruger 10/22

The bolt lock was confusing for my kids to operate. This part made it much easier for them to both lock and unlock the bolt. We had a great time at the range after we installed it!

Very Nice!!!

Being able to lock back the bolt easily is a must for any semi automatic. The factory bolt release just doesn’t cut it. It’s too small and to close to the trigger housing. Tandemkross Extended Bolt Release is just FANTASTIC!!! Highly Recommend!!!
