Great extractor
Hi I purchased this extractor to replace a popular name one I was having problems with and it works better than a lot of the top brands I highly recommend it

Eagle Talon Extractor - Ruger 1022
I bought this to fix my feeding issues with my old 1022. I replaced the original extractor, plunger, and spring all from TandemKross. I never had feeding issues with my 1022. It started with 1 in every 6 mags would jam and it got worse to jamming in 1 or 2 jams in a single mag. So far no feeding issues with the new extractor with 2 different 22lr manufacturers. This is not my only experience with TandemKross. My browning buckmark upgrade parts are from them and I don’t have any issues. They are extremely functional and makes my buckmark tacticool.
There is a tool which I did not get for removing/installing the extractor. I almost lost the plunger and spring installing the new extractor. Save yourself some grief and get the tool.

These worked great
With age your 10/22 ruger stamped steel extractors wear out,had one break so needed a plunger too.the 597 Remington really needs them just to work reliably.you should get the hammerd and springs also.

Solve FTE for good!
I put 400+ rounds through my 10/22 the other day and I didn't have a single failure to eject after installing this. There is a noticeable difference in the metal used to make this versus the stock extractor as well as in the sharp edges where it contacts the casing. Tandemkross claims that it won't wear down and I believe it.
The installation was super easy and if there's any confusion, a quick visit to youtube will set you straight. For the low cost of greatly improving reliability this can't be beat.
