Feels Like My 1911’s and Improves Grip
The Cornerstone makes my 22/45 grip feel as good as my 1911’s! Very easy to install, looks great and has a better price point than other brands. Just make sure you’re ordering the correct safety. I have a Mark IV 22/45 Lite and mistakenly ordered the Mark IV, which has a shaft that is over 1/8” too short, than the Mark IV 22/45. Once I purchased the correct one, everything was perfect! A superb addition to the Ruger pistol and like all the other TandemKross products I’ve purchased, are very well designed, durable and look awesome!

I feel like I have more Tandemcroos on my Ruger then I do Ruger parts :). I highly recommend watching the video a couple times before the install. I messed up by tightening up the screw, that holds it in place, too tight. I rewatched the video and discovered my mistake. Works perfect now.

Worth the difficulty
Although it was not the easiest piece to replace/upgrade, it was worth it. Thank goodness for YouTube. I am a newbie, maybe that's why it was so difficult for me. But… I did it! It helos me enjoy my Mark IV that much more.

Tandemkross Thumb ledge safety.
I installed the Thumb ledge safety in minutes. The step by step video is very easy to follow. The ledge does make it more secure and comfortable when I use a thumb at 45 degree for target shooting.
If you want a competitive Mk 4 22/45 this upgrade is well worth it.

Cornerstone thumb ledge
The cornerstone safety thumb ledge greatly improves accuracy and quick target acquisition. Not only is it more comfortable than the factory safety, it is smoother as well. It was a little tight at first (i also have the volquartsen accurizing kit installed which changed some tolerances of the internals as well) but once you install the new safety and oil/clean it, it works perfectly. Awesome product. Well worth trying.

I ordered Red. Got Black
Ordered Red because Black was out of stock. I received Black. Generally I'd be upset, but Black was what I wanted to begin with. Fits perfect, I like what it does. Out of the box, its a solid part.
