Minor issues, tandemkross stood by their product though - TANDEMKROSS Essential Parts Maintenance Kit, SW22 Victory

I bought this set to save money on buying the parts individually. The firing pin is sharper than the factory pin and therefore hits harder because the energy isn’t spread out over a larger surface. The extractor, however, chipped along the leading edge before I fired a single live round with it, presumably on a snap cap used to safely lower the hammer on this rimfire pistol. I called tandemkross and they sent out a replacement extractor and a label to send them the broken one so they can inspect it and try to correct any defect that it may have, but for a hardened steel part to break on a plastic snap cap is a little unnerving for a competition rimfire pistol, so I’m glad I had the factory extractor in a bag ready to go, I’ll keep it as a backup for sure now. The rebound springs seem shorter than the factory spring but they really don’t need to push very hard, just hard enough to keep the firing pin stop in the gun and the firing pin inside the bolt until the hammer drops. Overall, tandemkross parts have been reasonably priced, done what they said they would, and the company stood by their single small broken item, probably outspending the cost of the extractor that chipped on shipping labels to get me a new one and get their broken one back in for testing, which impressed me. Great to see a company serving rimfire pistol shooters with performance parts because that’s the future of introducing new shooters to the sport, and they’re just plain fun guns you can shoot 500 rounds with for under $50.
