Most Helpful Positive Review Tandemkross captured spring guide rod
Product works as described. Makes assembly way easier after cleaning. The factory spring is very difficult to put back together on assembly. This made it ten times easier! Would recommend this to anyone with a Walther P22.

Surprise Result

Received item in a timely manner. Initially purchased for current model of TX22. Actually fits my original model and wow what an improvement. The slide works so much smoother and resistance is minimal. Much better as I have arthritis it no longer hurts to rack.

This is one great product! This all started when I volunteered to clean a friend’s Walther P22. I can’t believe Walther would have a guide rod with an open ended spring?? Trying to put this pistol back together is a nightmare. The item is a real time saver!

P22 guide rod

My daughter’s P22 had almost stopped cycling altogether. The guide rod spring from the factory is a pain when breaking the gun down and had gotten soft. This new captured guide rod/spring is great. It makes the gun 10x easier to break down and it fixed the cycling problems. Runs like a sewing machine now.

Captured guide rod

Wish I would have known about these a long time ago. Dealing with a bent spring for a while and didn't realize these were around. Wow what an improvement. I gave the gun to my Daughter and she qualified with it at a gun safety course thanks to the new spring.

must have upgrade for the walther p22

This is a life saver when it comes to reassembly. I would fight with the OEM spring and guide for 10-15 min every time we shot this thing. This drops right in, line it up and send it home. Turns an hour cleaning job into 25-35 mins. That’s if it’s real dirty!!! Excellent must have for any P22 owner
