Removal tool
The tool works as intended. The guard on my weapon was easy enough to remove without the tool. I'd recommend spending your money on ammo instead or a a BLT Sammy. Reviews have to be 200 words long ? Sorry but this tool is just formed piece of 1/4 round stock.............................................

not what i was expecting
didnt come with the added padding that is shown in the picture. its all covered in rubber but ive heard that tears off. the whole reason i bought this one is because the picture shows reinforcement where the tool touches the weapon.
Does its job well
I have recently purchased a Magpul hand guard and new I would need this tool to put it on. The tool does one job only but it does it well. Heavy vinyl covers the portions that make contact with your gun so that is an added plus.

It works!
It works, and makes easy work of removing and installing new hand guards. After mulitple uses, the molded plastic covering will tear, so I wrap a wad of painters tape around those areas anD it's good to go!
