Do not try to mount this on Weaver mounts or EGW Picatinny rail! The mounting ring feet are too narrow for these mounts and spreading will break the mounting ring! This scope is better suited for an airgun or for a rifle with a built-in rail that will accept airgun-style scopes. The 7/8 inch diameter means that you cannot adapt this scope to Weaver mounting rings.
