great scope for pocket change
I've had 2 of these scopes for many years, not the most brilliant, but seem to be more than rugged. I keep one on my Marlin 795 that's my truck gun, so it gets plenty of abuse. No problems at all, works every time.
Pros: rugged, low cost, works fine
Cons: visibility in low light conditions

Not appropriate for rifles without built-in rail
Do not try to mount this on Weaver mounts or EGW Picatinny rail! The mounting ring feet are too narrow for these mounts and spreading will break the mounting ring! This scope is better suited for an airgun or for a rifle with a built-in rail that will accept airgun-style scopes. The 7/8 inch diamete...

.22 rifle scope
Poor quality. Put this scope on a .22 rifle and on the third shot while trying to sight it in, the front lens fell out into the tube. You get what you pay for........... This is the same problem that I had with the original one that was on the gun.

economical scope
I have a 15 y/0 granddaughter that is a shooter and member of a highschool rifle team.
My thoughts are to give her a nice .22 rifle for her 16th birthday if she still has
interest in shooting. The scope I purchased was put on a Marlin model 60. The rifle
is old enough it came with a 18 round magazine... nice... This rifle was my mothers
and she was a crack shot. Not more than a box or two of ammo has been fired so the rifle look brand new. I haven't zeroed this old girl in yet but that will happen very soon as it is mounted on the rail. Scope looks good, feels good and I expect it will
shoot good as well. I have another 4x Tasco and it works great on a pellet gun. Good
buy for the money and perfect for a .22 rifle. I might ad the service was also good
from the Optic Planet. Definitely, a huge selection of optics. I have booked this
website on my PC.

Great Scope
I have this mounted on a Savage Mark II 22LR and works excellent! Easy to sight in and dead on accurate! Tight groupings at 100 yards and easy to get a good sight picture. Using it to help train my 8 year old how to shoot and she does great with it.

tasco 3x7x20 rimfire rifle scope
I had this same scope on my Marlin 60 semiauto rifle for 48 years. and loved it. I recently dropped the gun while cleaning it, and it would no longer keep zero. I bought a new one, this month. It zerod after a few shot and works prefectly just like the old one.

Tasco's 3-7x20 Rimfire Rifle Scope RF37X20D
The Tasco 3-7x20 Rimfire Rifle Scope RF37X20D for the price is decent. Realize the scope is an inexpensive scope so you are going to get what you paid for, but what you get does the job on those old Rimfire rifles where the action and bolt may interfere with a 1" tube. Again, the price and quality of the material that the scope is made from coincide. I'm satisfied. I needed a scope for an old Rimfire rifle and it did the trick.

adapters required to mount on weaver/picatinny
You can mount to a weaver/picatinny rail by getting 2 adapters that fit on these rails and have the dovetail rail on top.

Great Quality for the Price
I was looking for the cheapest rimfire scope with the best features. I found this Tasco and couldn't be happier with the performance. Opticsplanet.com had the best price with fast shipping.

Could not get rings off of this scope
Rings can NOT be taken off of this scope so that it can be used on a Weaver base.
Cons: Wanted to use this scope on Weaver base and could NOT get the rings off of it - made trash out of it in the attempt to get rings off of it.
