I received this binocular as a present and I really like the ease of using it with very clear auto focus. I've set up individual focus once and use them farther on with out any additional adjustments. It has light body and is very helpfull while observing on the open field. Highly recomend

The Service from Optics planet was excellent adn has been in the past for several purchases, however I was not satisfied with the product.

I was planning a trip for diving and a friend asked if I could bring a pair of binoculars with a built in compass. Working overseas, it is difficult to find a website that would ship to an APO, but Optics planet did.

The binoculars arrived 3 days prior to my departure for my vacation and whn I opened the box the first issues was that the little white button on the power switch for the built in compass came off and had to be super glued back on.

The second issue was that there was 3 air bubbles in the compass which prevented it from smoothly rotating, or sometimes not rotating at all, while the person turned with the binoculars.

The only reason the binoculars were not returned was because they were needed and I had no time left to shop again and had no idea where I could buy them while on vacation

I will shop again at Optics planet for another pair before I go back for my next vacation but will look into a higher end model and will probably not buy another pair of Tasco even though this was more than likely a singular problem.
