Lightweight, Solid Fit, Worth the Investment
I added the EXFIL Ballistic Mandible to my Team Wendy setup to increase lower-face protection without significantly increasing weight or compromising comfort. The integration with the helmet rails is straightforward and secure. Once mounted, it feels stable with minimal shift during movement.
The weight is noticeable compared to running slick, but it’s well-balanced and doesn’t create excessive neck strain during extended wear. Padding and contouring are well thought out, and it interfaces cleanly with comms and eye protection.
Fit and finish are exactly what I expect from Team Wendy — high quality materials, clean machining, and confidence-inspiring construction. It’s not something everyone needs, but if your use case calls for added ballistic protection to the lower face, this is a solid option.
It’s not cheap, but neither is the protection it provides.
Would recommend for anyone building out a serious ballistic setup.
