This is the second batch of the insulated balls I have purchased for our water baths. We are a very sustainable company and are concerned about energy use and carbon foot print. These balls have helped reduced the loss of heat and the loss of water through evaporation. Just get the correct size for your application. To big of balls do not allow the blanket to form and to small of balls used may wind up going into filters, etc. They work well.
