I've always loved the tactical smocks and am a big fan of the Brit SAS smocks and have purchased quite a few from other companies,but by far the Teesar Gen 2 smock is hands down the winner. I'm going to purchase another in a different color of pattern if possible. The quality is incredible, strong durable materials ,no shoddy seams,solid zippers ( also the double direction zipper in the front us the easiest of all the smocks I own ). The smock has multiple pockets and pouches from the front to the back with 2 large pouches in the side ( suitable for canteens or any large items like that, it could even comfortably hold multiple rifle mags depending on what type). The hood has the wire in the hem to help keep its shape when worn up ( to keep it from becoming a wet,limp pancake on your head in a storm), but unlike other smocks this wire doesn't make pieces of the hood point this way and that way looking like the cape from the comic character Spawn. Teesar also wins in the cuff closures. They are elasticized,but have a bit of material that slides down over it so they look like a normal sleeve while still having the sleeves sealed off for warmth retention/ safety. There are also padded elbows which generously cover a large part of your arns which waa a plus. Aesthetically. It is just a great looking coat. Whether you are using it for camping.
