Reviews & Ratings for TeleVue-76 Telescope Package — 1 review — Page 1

I waited for years to buy this scope and am impressed with every detail. It comes securely packaged, and the travel bag is solidly built for real life travel. The scope is so beautiful! The short overall length and light weight makes this the most portable scope, easily mounted on lighter weight tripods with a steady image. The image quality during daytime and the night sky is stunning. I noted no color shift and image sharpness is excellent. Focusing was a pleasure with that high quality apochromatic crisp/snap focus. I am planning on using the Televue 76 at the shooting range as a spotting scope, for daytime photography, and as a telescope at night! The quick cool off time and ease of set up has made the Televue 76 my first choice for night sky viewing. I plan on buying the Televue Tele-Pod mount with Sky Tour and add to my lens collection with a 3X Barlow and a 10 mm Radian eyepiece to make the perfect travel telescope.
Pros: A work of art in every detail.
Cons: Would have preferred a 10 mm plossl
