Poor design
The front cap comes in two pieces: the part that clamps onto the LVPO and the cover. Problem is that the part that every time you attempt to flip open the cap, it pops off of the part that clamps to the LVPO.

Flawed Design
The rear cap spring is too weak to move the cap to a fully rested position, so it's left obstructing view around the optic with your non-dominant eye. The front cap is even worse - the retention of the front cover is stronger than the retention of the cap to its base. This means that if you push the ledge on the cap with your support hand to open it, the cap will fall off, with the base remaining connected to the optic. At this price point, this is unforgiveable.
