Texas bitty dot mount

So this is my first TWS product. I have been looking for an option to mount a red dot that holds zero. I see mixed reviews on the top rail cover so I tried this. Installation was so freaking easy,2 minutes seriously. First time ever working on an ak also! It locks up tight with a tension screw. The only thing I don’t like is the length of the pin, it’s long. Not all ak’s are alike so I get it. Other then that I like the feel and material. Mounted it to a century arms under folding stock.

Worries Free AK Picatinny Rails Mount

Texas Weapons System did it again. The rear sight picatinny rail is truly worries free mount for red dots only applications on any AK platform.

Modification Needed

There is a small ridge on the bottom of this mount. I had to grind that ridge mostly off to get the mount level. Other than that, it works pretty good. I attached it, mounted the optic and then zeroed in the optic. Took it out another day and it had held zero.

Seems to be pretty solid, but unfortunately it’s angled up in the back after you install it. Makes it look cheap.

clean fit pic rail !!

Fits nice and solid while being able to keep the wood furniture look and still able to install a red dot !! Perfect solid product! Holds zero without a problem, I find it to be a better option compared to the dust cover with the rail. It is a little hard to remove the manufacture rear sight post but after you get it off it’s smooth sailing from there perfect solid fit.

light and easy to install.

This is perfect if you do not want to have a side mounted rail. It is light and has sufficient space for any type of red dot with a cowitness mount. This has a notch in order to line up the with the front sight post but it's nothing fancy. Cowitnessing might not be the best option with this but at least the notch is there in case your optic ever fails.
