Texas Weapon Systems AK red dot mount
I put this on my Century Arms AK and it fit perfectly. Installation was a breeze! The sight height is perfect for my Vortex Venom and a Standard stock. You also get just enough room to remove the dust cover for disassembly.
AK alternative mounting system to the East bloc side mount
I bought this and mount it on my Early imported Rommanian SAR1. the installation is quite straight forward and the sights came off and we install this mount ! it is sturdy and seems good. I mount a Sig ROmeo 5 on the it. ONe thing to note is that the back iron sights is way low and I cannot use the irons . sighting in the weapon this week and will see how that goes !so far as I can tell it is not cowitnessing with the irons,

excellent product
Purchased this mount to install an MRO on my Romanian AK. The mount went on perfectly other than a failure on my MRO which was rectified and TWS customer service was extremely helpful and fast getting me replacement screws even though it was not TWS’s issue. The mounting system for this dot looks weird but if you follow the destructions you’ll end up with a solid mount that doesn’t weigh a thing and holds zero. It gives a perfect cheek weld on the rifle and keeps the rifle clean and harder to snag on things with the optic tucked down nice like that. Yes it’s relatively simple in design, but they managed to make an excellent product, backed by great CS and all while keeping the price low. Great work TWS.

Great product, even better company.
The mount looks great on my PSA AK-104. Seems to hold zero fine. It is a little tricky to install due to the PSA sight block being different than a regular AK.
I did break the mounting bolt while installing it and it was my error. TWS sent a replacement out to me with no questions asked.
