This peep sight works as advertised. It is well made with a close tolerance fit to the TWS top cover which also fit very nicely onto my C38V2. In my opinion this TWS setup is definitely an improvement over the standard AK iron sights for 100 yds or less.

I've attached this to my Texas weapon dust cover but it's not secure. It's loose when the screw is fully sealed. I don't know if it's a defect. But you cannot retain zero with this at all. The peep sight for my AK is really moving up from the 50's iron sight tech. It seems very well made yet is still light weight. I really like having this style sight on the AK over the traditional style for accuracy and target acquisition. Looks great on my Yugo M70.

TWS Peep Sight

Small and lightweight addition to a railed dust cover. Would be better if redesigned with a square recoil lug and a little tighter fit on the rail's dovetail shape, but mine is on solid, so i cant complain too much. Also peep is somewhat coarse, wouldnt hurt to have a slightly smaller diameter peep, can fix that with some testors flat black model car paint. Use blue loctite on screw.

TWS gen3 peep sight

It is very well made and sturdy, built like a tank. It’s very aesthetically pleasing and functional. Shipping time took forever tho, but I can’t complain since the shipping was free. I haven’t had it long enough to speak about its longevity. But so far so good

I have read recent reviews stating that it will not hold. I did use locktite on my threads, but I have had no issues with it. I do not always use it as I do have an optic mounted, but I checked it while writing (2023) and the is no shifting. I bought and mounted mine in 2020. Maybe there are some tolerance issues at the factory, but mine is good as gold. Is it possible that the issue may be placement? Mine is fully rearward. Just a thought; maybe you can find a tighter fitting location on your rail. My experience says this is a great purchase, but OP has a great return policy just in case.

Fits just fine.

I bought one of these with a Gen3 for my PSA AK-104 SBR. The rail fits fine. If you run the screw down until it first bottoms out it will be loose both laterally and somewhat longitudinally. You just need to tighten it a bit further and it will flex/squeeze a bit to remove any play at all. Don't forget to blue locktite all your fasteners once you have it all adjusted at the range!
