I installed this on my Saiga-12 this unit will also work with the kalashnikov. It worked out pretty good with my Sig Sauer Romeo 7. I put 300 rounds through it within a 2 day period and it's holding strong.

It might fit the original saigas but it does not fit on pants or arms AK 12 clone and if you do get to fit, there’s a lot of modification that needs to be done
Great product BUT!
Have done this mod on an AK-47 prior to this install so I knew what to expect. Optics Planet price was GREAT, shipping was good & fast. No problem with OP at all. My issue Arose when trying to contact the original manufacturer (Texas Weapons Systems) to resolve a parts issue. Multiple calls, multiple emails & over a month later no help, no response! I finally did some machine shop work on the casting & got it to work. Extensive work easily avoided if required parts were included or even available to purchase. DON'T EXPECT ANY HELP FROM TWS CUSTOMER SERVICE!
