#1 recommended modification.
Easy install. the clearance holes that hold the pin in the trunnion were a very tight tolerance. i had to fiddle around with it to make it fit through and hold the hinge in. The cover release button is a little hard to push in to lift the dog leg rail. But i bought a ALG spring with dead coils so that might help in my case.
All around a good product,
If the Russians use this. I will too.

It looks so nice with my ZPAP M70! Excellent piece of furniture, great quality, performs amazingly. I highly recommend this. I love it so much, it looks so nice with my weapon.

An absolute classic
It's been around for well over a decade. Holds zero perfectly, easy install. I trust this dust cover so much I would let it borrow my car for the weekend.

Great product, but make sure it is in stock.
It works great on my YUGO, have 500 rounds through it and holds zero fine. No gun modifications required to make it fit. When I ordered from here it said it was in stock and ready to ship. 48 hours later it was back ordered. Took 30 days to ship. I was not happy with how optics planet handled the matter.

Solid Mounting System
I was skeptical if this would hold zero and I am highly impressed. I mounted a dot and magnifier on mine. There are a few points in the installation that allow for the snugging of this system onto the rifle, and none of them alone seem substantially robust however, once you snuggle down each point, the sum of them makes a robust optics mounting platform. I put it on a Zastava m70 easily. I originally bought the optic mount that attaches to the side of the rifle, but those things seem to flex and I had little faith, so I went this route and cover seems WAY more stable (I am sure the RS regulate ones are fine but I didn’t want to do the 2-part system). I ordered another one for my zpap92 and will be happy once it comes.

great scope rail
I was a bit skeptical before purchasing this scope rail because I was unsure if it would allow my optic to hold zero. But after installing it, I have no doubts. This rail is solid and looks good as well!

TWS Yugo AK top cover

Hugo dogleg scope rail .
Removing the rear sight was straightforward. I had to use a round file to get the front pin to go in. It wouldn’t tap in with a hammer. After filing , I could push it in with a little effort. The cover is a tight fit with no movement. It works as advertised. It’s a nice upgrade.

Looks great
Fits tight and looks great. holds zero so far with tws rear peep sight. only down side is does not allow for safety to be pushed all the way up on century arms m70 ab2.

Solid rail
After about 100 rounds, the rail has no wiggle I can discern and zero is still holding true. Installation was really easy, too, hardest part was replacing the rear spring guide.
