Handles get hot but makes a good cup of coffee. I think some kind of material should be used over the handles that would reflect heat so it would be easier to handle this coffee pot. Not sure what could be used I'm still in thought mode on this problem. I bought it for my pops because he's oldschool and thinks it is the way coffee should be made. Me, I still like my drip coffee pot with a timer, but that's me. Peace out peeps. Enjoy life one day at a time.......:)
