Fast Follow-Up Shots & Improved Ergonomics

by Andrew, Gear Expert from WI, United States Written on July 17, 2026
After spending time with both the original Disruptor and now the new ambidextrous version, I can confidently say this is the model I would recommend to most shooters. While the internals remain the same as the standard Disruptor, the addition of an ambidextrous safety selector addresses one of the biggest ergonomic complaints of the original design. I dropped this trigger into a 10.3 AR pistol that had a few different variables compared to the rilfe i tested the standard Disruptor in including a Sylvan Arms folding stock/brace adaptor on the pistol.

Installation was straightforward thanks to the cassette-style drop-in design. If you're already comfortable assembling an AR-15 lower, getting everything installed is a quick process. As with any forced-reset system, making sure your rifle is configured correctly (Full Auto BCG, H3 or heavier buffer, etc.) is important for reliable operation.

On the range, the trigger delivered exactly what it's designed to do. Once you learn the cadence and maintain consistent pressure on the trigger, follow-up shots come extremely quickly while remaining controllable. In my testing, the reset was positive and consistent, allowing me to run multiple magazines without any reliability issues.

The ambidextrous selector is a worthwhile upgrade even for right-handed shooters. Whether you're practicing support-side shooting, shooting around barricades, or simply prefer ambidextrous controls, having the selector accessible from either side makes the ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Didn't work for me
I tried a full series of buffers and springs, even an adjustable gas system. I could not get this trigger to reliably reset in FRT fire. The rifle is a Daniel Defense M4A1, I swapped the lower off a V7 with a rare breed in it and it ran flawlessly. It wasn't a component or tuning issue. The trigger ...

Better than expected

by mb2000inc, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on September 14, 2026
I cannot tell you how awesome this thing actually is. I installed it, per the instruction on The Triggered Company's website, gave it a quick test and mag-dumped into a steel target. Smooth, Solid, and Satisfying. It's a win. 10/10 would recommend.
Pros:
  • Smooth
  • WORTH EVERY PENNY
  • Cool af
  • not overly long pull
Cons:
  • I only bought one
Best Used for:
  • decimating a steel target
  • obliterating unwanted vermin in my field
  • puting a smile on my face when needed

Nice FRT Needed a little Mod

by LesPaul1969, from PA, United States Written on September 12, 2026
I own the LAT trigger from Trigger Works and it has a better response and lighter pull. This trigger works as described. The pull is a bit heavier - the enhanced semi auto worked well. Single pull gave two bursts and steady pull fired until you released it. Safety and semi auto worked correctly. It needed some light grinding on the we cassette front to fit the same AR-15 I had the LAT in (the LAT fit with no mods). Overall I would buy it again for the price.
Pros:
  • Worked as described. Like the drop in design
Cons:
  • Had to modify slightly to drop in lower.
Best Used for:
  • recreational shooting

tuning required

by Bryan B, from TX, United States Written on September 9, 2026
Bought this for a carbine length rifle, knew going into it there would be tuning required. Once it was tuned it operated flawlessly, highly recommend getting the Geisele super42 set with it.

partisan disrupter broken ambi safety

by Raymond Silva, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on September 8, 2026
So i received the product quickly which is great, installed relatively easily. Go to screw in the thumb lever and it's stripped, not the screw but the barrel part of the safety inside threads. Going them make it right and send another safety out so i can actually try the unit out and give a proper review because i want to give five stars but can't yet. Stay tuned for update

Triggered company Disrupter FRT

by DirtyWhiteBoy, Verified Owner from NE, United States Written on September 8, 2026
This was a first for me purchasing an FRT. as for installation it is very simple and straightforward. If you have ever built an AR platform then you’re good to go. If not there is plenty info on the internet. Just know ahead of your purchase that these only fit a low shelf lower. If your not sure you have one of those Google your lowers brand and it will tell you compatibility. You will need at least an H2 to H3 heavy buffer. This is a quality product and should give years of shooting fun.
Pros:
  • Price
Cons:
  • compatibility
