Fast Follow-Up Shots & Improved Ergonomics
After spending time with both the original Disruptor and now the new ambidextrous version, I can confidently say this is the model I would recommend to most shooters. While the internals remain the same as the standard Disruptor, the addition of an ambidextrous safety selector addresses one of the biggest ergonomic complaints of the original design. I dropped this trigger into a 10.3 AR pistol that had a few different variables compared to the rilfe i tested the standard Disruptor in including a Sylvan Arms folding stock/brace adaptor on the pistol.
Installation was straightforward thanks to the cassette-style drop-in design. If you're already comfortable assembling an AR-15 lower, getting everything installed is a quick process. As with any forced-reset system, making sure your rifle is configured correctly (Full Auto BCG, H3 or heavier buffer, etc.) is important for reliable operation.
On the range, the trigger delivered exactly what it's designed to do. Once you learn the cadence and maintain consistent pressure on the trigger, follow-up shots come extremely quickly while remaining controllable. In my testing, the reset was positive and consistent, allowing me to run multiple magazines without any reliability issues.
The ambidextrous selector is a worthwhile upgrade even for right-handed shooters. Whether you're practicing support-side shooting, shooting around barricades, or simply prefer ambidextrous controls, having the selector accessible from either side makes the ...

I have bought two of these in the last month and I am very surprised at the beautiful finish that the triggered company put into these disruptor trigger cassettes. The triggers break very cleanly and in semi mode have an excellent reset. The finish on the trigger is very smooth and I really appreciate that. The first build was putting into a spikes tactical lower and I could not get the pins as tight as I would like to have which left a little motion in the cassette. I measured the interior of the lower and it was right on spec so I had to sand down the edges of the walk-through pins about 3 thousands to get a nice tight fit.. the selector switch however, is in my opinion very loose and sloppy. I contacted the triggered company directly and their customer service. People are very closely working with me to get this resolved so the company itself not only offers very finished manufacturing, but also good customer service. I will keep you informed on how this works out. Build number two was a little bit more challenging as I am installing it in a Sig MPX carbine gen 2. The fit into the MPX is outstanding, but the ambidextrous safety selector in this one is also mushy and not as definitive and stiff as I would like it to be. I have not fired the MPX yet as I am waiting for FRT Springs from in lead we trust. Should optics planet have another sale on these disruptors, I would happily purchase two or three more.

Easy Install FRT
I love these Disruptor-stle AR-15 FRTs. They are so easy to install and work great in all sorts of lowers. Got a good price deal on this one from OpticsPlanet, so added it to my older Bushmaster lower. I know there are less expensive FRT/SS options, but this is worth it for the ease of install. I also got a heavier buffer spring and H3 buffer, based on videos I've seen.

Works as Intended
Starting off, basic trigger install. No issuees on the install.
Once installed, i had to set the read pin first before being able to mate the upper and lower lower together. No issues once i figured that.
Then came the buffer tuning. I first used a captured h3 buffer, which turned out to be too still. Swapped it out for a dead blow h3 buffer and standard spring, and it worked like a charm.
I would highly advise a adjustable gas block with or without a suppressor.
Ran 3 mags in frt and not a single jame or miss feed once the buffer system was set up right.

Unfortunately! The threads inside the selector shaft used to mount the selector lever, were stripped out or way oversized for the attachment screws supplied. I will tap and find screws that work.
