Fails to hold open after last round
Title says it all really. The follower is a bright colour which is nice to see and I’d like to see more folks go this way but the fit in the weapon is not inspiring and the failure to engage the bolt catch is deal breaker for me

10 round compliant for my state
My state outlawed any magazine over 10 rounds, making my 20 round mags useless.Waited for DPMS to supply their 10 round magazine for my FN FAL rifle. They advised that they would not be able to supply their 10 round mag in the foreseeable future. Searched internet and found Optics Planet had Thermold 10 round mags available. I bought 2 mags for my FAL. These are one step above unusable, the mags will not feed ball ammo reliably. Most times the ammo will not strip from magazine when the bolt closes, leading to no round in chamber. These failures happen at two or three times per fully loaded magazine. The molding and composition of the plastic material leaves a lot to be desired. Save your money and look elsewhere.

OK for now
Rifle - DS Arms SA58 (metric FAL)
Mag does feed OK, BUT - reasons for downcheck.
1. Mag well fit is quite tight. On the plus, there is no rattle. The negative is, you really need to want to load or remove this magazine. To be fair, this may improve with wear over time.
2. Empty magazine does not actuate bolt hold open
These are range magazines IMHO. Since it does load things that go bang, and given the current lack of alternatives (10/20), I will keep these with the intent to replace them with better alternatives ASAP.
