This product is all smooth, there is no grip as per advertisement. It’s just a solid piece of black anodized aluminum. Photo & Description is misleading. I was told by Thompson Center that this was the only available rod for a replacement for the Black Diamond 50 caliber XR Black Powder Rifle.
