This base is sturdy and the holes line up. The silver of this does not match the silver Thompson Center weather shield finish. You would think that it being made by TC they would match. Weaver scope base for Encore.
Great base light but very strong and at a reasonable price. I put it on my 35 Whelen and had no problem with loosening, scope stayed zeroed. I have two more barrels, 25-06 and 30 win mag and I plan on using the same setup for both. Great scope base.
