This is the same flex tech forend that came with my original TC Muzzleloader encore Prohunter. When I went to setup a second frame for a 2nd muzzleloader setup, this is what I wanted but a lot of sources were unclear on whether it WAS for a muzzleloader or whether it was new or whether it was a direct replacement. Opticsplanet was clear and the cheapest of the stocks that I believe were new. A+ to the vendor and as for the forend itself, I like it. Good grippy surface, nice shape, mainly wanted it because it matched the flex tech buttstock I already was going to use which I also recommend. Not the best looking set available but the felt recoil of the set is I think better than the "pretty" sets out there.
