Not for use with low profile hand guards
Had hoped to reduce the weight of a new upper build with this gas block, but because the bottom pinch-clamp is thick and cantered, my low profile hand guard contacted it (eliminating free floating barrel capability).
Would recommend: No
Great option
Great option for my build. Fit perfectly on my 16" heavy barrel, keeping a low profile. Easiest way to go if you don't have or can't dimple your barrel.

Low profile gas block
Converted my Ruger 5.56 carbine, to a free float, this was a very affordable option, fit is great, was a little worried the handguard was not gonna fit over it with the 2 clamping bolts, but like i said the fit is great, highly recommend
