Defective machining.
I purchased the 308 in stainless finish and was very disappointed in the machining quality. Not just esthetically, but the second "wall" in from the muzzle had a burr. And after further inspection, the machining where that burr is, wasn't finished. If I were to have sent a 30 call round out through this muzzle device, the outcome could be catastrophic!
Pros:
- Pretty, lightweight. Convinced me to buy a Browning Recoil Hog.
Cons:
- Poor machining and QC
Best Used for:
- Convincing your wife that $35 muzzle devices aren't quality.
