Engraving is barely visible

Bought this for the engraving, which is barely visible unless you angle it just right. That being said, it's still a good deal for what seems like a quality part, I'm just disappointed with the engraving. I contacted OpticsPlanet Gear Expert and they advised that "the item is a little lighter in person than in the product photos and does not believe this is a printing defect". Anyway, I'm keeping it since it's still a decent deal on a dust cover but the engraving is effectively not visible.
