Expensive but quality lpk - Timber Creek AR Lower Parts Kit

This lower parts kit is great and comes with a diagram for the different parts inside the package. For me this was great as this was my first AR build. I choose the color orange and it is a great contrast against my OD Green Aero Precision Gen 2 Lower. Everything was to spec and even installing the pivot pin without a tool was easy. The shape of the pins is great for pulling out with any nail length. The hardest part was the bolt catch and I see why people love the M4E1. There is a slot in the pack that's empty but it doesn't correspond to a part in the diagram of parts and isn't need for a build. I went with a LaRue trigger and B5 p22 grip to complete the lower, therefore making the trigger and hammer pins extra parts. Only downside is with the AP Gen2 I did need to purchase a 4x40 set screw for the takedown pin and detent. I read some reviews that dissuaded me from color anodized parts, but this kit is perfect Mil-Spec with a custom flair.
