safety selectir wider than lower
Not sure if it was just this specific lower parts pack but the only issue I had was with the safety selector
1- it was very “rigid” with the detect on I had to use some rem oil and work it in before tightening everything up other wise it would budge
2- it doesn’t bother me really but the safety selector “pin”/“barrel” of protrudes from the lower 1/16”
Second AR build with this kit
I'm a fan of this parts kit. I like the fact that it is reasonably priced, well made, and comes with a 45/90 ambi safety that is very comfortable and has a shortened lever for the strong-side of the grip. Also, the takedown pins have oversized heads that are easy to grasp with your hand, as well as dimples to help you push them through with a bullet tip without scratching up your firearm.

Zero quality control
Selector doesn’t sit flush. Scratched up my receiver with this out of spec garbage. Won’t be purchasing anything from timber Creek again

Expensive but Quality LPK
This lower parts kit is great and comes with a diagram for the different parts inside the package. For me this was great as this was my first AR build. I choose the color orange and it is a great contrast against my OD Green Aero Precision Gen 2 Lower. Everything was to spec and even installing the pivot pin without a tool was easy. The shape of the pins is great for pulling out with any nail length. The hardest part was the bolt catch and I see why people love the M4E1. There is a slot in the pack that's empty but it doesn't correspond to a part in the diagram of parts and isn't need for a build. I went with a LaRue trigger and B5 p22 grip to complete the lower, therefore making the trigger and hammer pins extra parts. Only downside is with the AP Gen2 I did need to purchase a 4x40 set screw for the takedown pin and detent. I read some reviews that dissuaded me from color anodized parts, but this kit is perfect Mil-Spec with a custom flair.

Terrible tolerances
Spend the money on a better kit, i’ll be throwing this one in the trash. The take down pins are garbage and the safety does not sit flush against the lower frame. Very sloppy kit.

All parts went in smoothly and seem solid the fde color matched perfectly.

This kit is a great design and FDE color, I will use this kit again for my next build.I will recommended it to my friends. The only issue I seen is the safety selector hits my hands on the right side but not a deal breaker.
