No spring or pins included
These pins slip right out as they were shipped, and did not include the springs or pins in the picture. I already threw away the packaging and didn't feel like going through the return hassle for a low-price item like this. So now I have to buy the pins and springs elsewhere, or just keep these for spare parts and get a whole other unit
Slightly disappointed
Love the way these pins feel. Rear pin installed with no issue. Upon installing front pin, detent hole seemed to be slightly oversized. Detent had issues coming out of hole, pin was hung up. Track got heavily scarred due to detent being too deep. Even with lube this happened upon install. Going to have to order another set or try to machine a ramp to make travel easier for detent.

works great
I had to buy these as replacements for armaspec takedown pins. The armaspec ones are cerakoted on the pins and were so tight they wouldn’t work without a hammer and punch. These are smooth right from install. Very happy with the OD green too.

mill spec was better fit
cool pins and all, but I noticed while installing them they didn't align perfect with the second hole. didn't think much of it until after I re-attached the upper receiver and there was much more play in the gun than before.
basically, the pins are loose, and mil-spec was better. gun now makes a loose rickety sound when handling.
No deal, and sad because I think these were the only pins on opticsaplanet that I could find in ODG.

takedown pins

Nice takedown pins they are well made. i definitely will buy again from Timber Creek. They make hreat products and the pricing is reasonable. The flat dark earth color matches perfect with all the other FDE components I have on my AR-15

AR takedown pins (burnt bronze)
Not much to say other than they are easier to grab and pull out and the color added some nice detail to what was a typical boring black AR. I have four different burnt bronze parts on the rifle and it looks so much better than before.

Great product by Timber Creek Outdoors
I purchased these because I have purchased other Timber Creek Outdoors products in the past and was doing a build with all red accessories. I was a bit worried when I read some of the other reviews but went ahead and ordered them. The fitment was good in an MSG Inc lower. The red also matched well with other companies red anodizing. Overall very satisfied with my purchase.

It's pretty good and works easily
I wanted something I could easily grip and pull the pins out to maintain my ar at the range if needed. Tried Strike Industries and they were ok but the pins had nothing to grip on even if they were wider than stock ones. The grooves on these timber creek pins are what attracted me to get them. Works fine, easy to maneuver.
