Quality Muzzle Break
I really like this muzzle break. It made a big difference on my rifle. It was easy to install and it has exceeded my expectations. My upper assembly is from Bear Creek Arsenal and there were no problems with thread pitch.

Uh-oh...doesn’t fit!
Sorry folks, despite the other review, this did NOT fit the Bear Creek upper 12.7! It starts to thread but then gets way to tight and will not continue onto the barrel. This is true for both the brake and the lock nut. Dang, really bites the big one.
Perfect muzzle brwak for .50 Beowulf
Absolutely love this break in my .50 Beowulf. Looks great and mos definitely helps with recoil. I like this one much better over the the others. Great price too!

Well built and worth the money.
This brake threaded right on my Bear Creek Arsenal 12.7 x 42. It looks good and functions great. It came with a jam nut which makes timing a breeze.

Exceptional Performance and Control – Timber Creek Beowulf Muzzle Brake
I recently installed the Timber Creek Beowulf Muzzle Brake on my Bear Creek Arsenal BC-15 12.7x42 right-side charging rifle, and the results have been nothing short of outstanding.
From the first shot, the difference in recoil management was immediately noticeable. The Beowulf round is a beast, but this brake tames it with precision. Muzzle rise is dramatically reduced, allowing for faster follow-up shots and tighter groupings—even during rapid fire. The brake’s multi-port design effectively redirects gases, minimizing felt recoil and keeping the rifle stable and on target.
Craftsmanship is top-tier. The anodized finish is both durable and visually striking, complementing the BC-15’s rugged build. Installation was straightforward, and the fit was flawless—no need for shims or adjustments. It’s clear Timber Creek engineered this brake with both performance and aesthetics in mind.
Whether you're hunting, running drills, or just enjoying range time, this upgrade transforms the shooting experience. It’s not just an accessory—it’s a functional enhancement that brings out the full potential of the 12.7x42 platform.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to maximize control, comfort, and confidence with their Beowulf setup.

Timber Creek Heart Breaker
This muzzle device is exactly what is needed to tame the harsh recoil of the 12.7 x 42. It comes with a jam nut, is priced right and looks good without actually breaking your heart.

Defictive Threading
I've had to return this Brake 2X due to the inability to thread this onto my beowulf. The thread protector my rifle came with easily threads on & off but this Brake aligns onto the barrel & will not screw in more than a 1/16 then it locks up.
Because of there customer service (excellent) I've opted to receive store credit for a different item purchase.
All I & my local gun store can deduce is defective factory threading/tapping

Installed on my Bear Creek Build. 100% worth it
I shot my BCA .50 Beowulf Upper without this brake and it was not pleasant experience (I am about 150lbs soaking wet). I did some research on muzzle brakes for this BCA upper and settled on this one due to the price. I can confidently say this brake was worth my money, it makes my rifle so much easier to handle and in my opinion tames the recoil to that of a 30-30. Installation was a breeze, I used a 22mm wrench to uninstall the old muzzle device and to install the Timber Creek unit with no fitment issues whatsoever.
Pros:
- Price and install ease
- Effective and economical
Cons:
- None
- noise (all muzzle brakes increase noise)

Wow this is impressive
I put this on a Bear Creek upper and a H3 buffer. Recoil was barely noticable.

.50 Beowulf Tamer
Put this Break on my .50 Beowulf and it performs great. It's a recoil tamer. My .50 Beowulf is a pleasant to shoot. I shot from 300 grain to the powerful 500 grain flat point. Excellent recoil reduction.
