Works great, needs a true mil-spec tube
These make for great minimalist builds, if you are OK with a short length of pull. However, note that it can fit loosely on buffer tubes that are not in some way powdercoated or cerakoted. It's a thick, beefy piece of hardware and it isn't all that flexible with the bolt/clamp system. You can probably solve a loose fit with a small piece of electrical tape or something, but just be warned that it potentially could be a tiny bit "loose" - not that it will fall off, but on some buffer tubes may wiggle by what is probably a fraction of a millimeter, but a wiggle nonetheless.

Timber Creek Extension Plate
This butt plate is a great simple design to keep your compact rifle light and maneuverable. This item is easy to install. The machining of this item is clean. Mine is on a AR9 pistol build. I would buy this product again.
