Smooth as butta with a crisp click
Fairly easy install with excellent results.I used it in an ar556 by Ruger. Some may say I spent too much money on the trigger and that I put mink seats in a volkswagen...Talk on while I rock on. I also put trijicon sights on the weapon and you know what. It's killa dilla now.

Ar 15 small pin 3 lb trigger
Have purchased other Timney Triggers and been quite pleased. Not so with this one. Installed very easy but that is about the end of the pleasant experience. Love this Trigger
This is the best single stage trigger I have shot. Current have it in a SPR build and it feels great when placing long range shots.

This is by far the best trigger I have ever used. The reset is second to none, and the break is very crisp. Super slick installation and trigger options. 10/10 and is now mandatory on all of my builds!

Simple and Solid
Installation was quick and easy. You get an installation chart that has a lot of explanatary photos. Simple tool needs. A part of my old trigger actually sprung out as it was under spring tension. Caught me by surprise but not a big deal. You have to move the spring fingers aside on the Timney to access the installation screw holes then reposition when done. This was a single stage trigger so absolutely no takeup on the pull. Trigger broke very cleanly. Biggest decisions for you - trigger pull weight and whether single stage or 2 stage trigger.

Excellent trigger!
The Timney AR-15 Competition Trigger (yellow / 3lb) has been a very significant improvement to my Ruger AR-556 rifle. The stock trigger was just fine, for a GI military-style trigger, and I could shoot good groups with it, but the Timney trigger, with it's much lighter pull weight and much crisper break makes accurate shooting a whole lot easier. The installation was very easy, and the provided instructions were very clear. There is also a YT video by Timney that shows the procedure step-by-step. This addition is one of the two best accessories I have on my rifle, the other being a good red dot sight.

I just purchased a Daniel Defense DDM4V7 Desert Sage which came with a Geissele Super Semi-Automatic (SSA) Trigger, at the same time I purchased a Sig Sauger MPC PCC with came with a Competition Timney Trigger.
The Timney trigger on my MPX felt so good I knew I havd to get a Timney Trigger for my DDM4V7.
Even though the trigger pull for the Geissele trigger is around 2-3 lbs, it was the lenght it took to break which killed it for me.
As long as you know how to disassemble your lower, grip, installtion can be done in 15mins easy.
The Timney trigger on my MPX felt so good I knew I havd to get a Timney Trigger for my DDM4V7.
