Most Helpful Negative Review Disappointing
I have a few Timney Triggers and previously they’ve been a nice upgrade verses stock. I would highly recommend them for Ruger Gen-1 and Gen-2’s. HOWEVER, I’m very disappointed in their S&W 1854 Trigger kit that MSRP’s for $199.95. Although it does get rid of the trigger flop, I’m getting more inconsistent trigger pulls ranging from 3.8 to 4.6 lbs. They advertise 2.5 - 3-lbs which is simply not the case, with the stock set-up I was getting 4.14 to 5.2 lbs. So I don’t feel losing the trigger flop and roughly 1-lbs on the trigger pull is worth the money (plus less consistent). Further...

Trigger is still loose and has a lot of slop left or right. The only thing difference is the reset .

I got this for my marlin .357. It was easy to install and improved my offhand groups significantly. Lighter, smoother pull as advertised.

minimal weight reduction

Easy to install. Only dropped trigger pull by 1 pound, but take-up is better. Not inexpensive but an improvement.
