Sully's Review of Timney Triggers Remington 700 Two-Stage Light Trigger
Purchased this trigger for a budget 300M rifle build.
Pros:
* Product labeled as 8oz 1st stage and 16oz 2nd stage - verified with Lyman electronic trigger pull gauge almost exactly as labeled.
* Very clean break and no perceived over travel on 2nd stage.
* Price - about half the price of other two stage triggers.
Cons:
* Trigger shoe is not adjustable (although this one fits well with my stock). Timney offers an adjustable trigger shoe on their Tactical Trigger, so hopefully, they will add the option to this one.
* Only the 2nd stage is adjustable for pull weight - not a show stopper for a center
fire rifle a- but may not be sensitive enough for a rimfire 40X.
