Great replacement trigger! - Timney Triggers Ruger M77 MKII Trigger

I installed this trigger myself on my Ruger M77 Mark II, 30/06 (I am not a gunsmith). It was relatively easy, you just need to follow the instructions. The only thing I would add to the manufacturer’ s instructions is as you’re filing excess material from the tigger to allow proper clearance for the safety to engage, in addition to ensuring the action is cocked (the mechanism has tighter clearances when cocked) make sure you check the final clearance and proper safety engagement with the receiver placed back in the stock and tightened down. I had to make additional minor clearance adjustments after the receiver was in place. I used the original trigger spring and have it adjusted to approximately a three pound pull. The travel is negligible. I love this new set up!
