1.0 pro series c.o.r.e upgrade - Timney Triggers S&W M&P 1.0/2.0 Alpha Competition Pistol Trigger

The Trigger is A+ but the instructions don't cover all the details for all versions and my rating would be 5 if it was

I installed my Timmney trigger on a M&P40 Pro Series C.O.R.E. , the 1st gen with the optics cutout on the receiver.

Step 0: Recommend thoroughly clean receiver lube/grease moving parts before reassembly.

1.Sear: Do not swap out the sear on the the 1.0 Pro Series. The factory (PS) sear+trigger bar are matched up. If you do swap it you will immediately noticed the overtravel and pull weight just to get the sear the disengage.

2 Safety Plunger:You don't have to remove your rear iron sight on the 1.0 CORE version. Access to the plunger is in the optics cut out area. Remove your opitc and base (if installed) and with very small Allen owrench loosen the safety plunger cap.
