Great cleaning rod for the money. Buy the adapter and you can use it for .22 caliber as well. Pros: Durable

The Tipton rod has a female adaptor. Most brushes and jags for .20 caliber have female adaptors. Thefore, you can't use the Tipton rod with the most commonly sold brushes and jags! Pros: Great features Cons: Not compatable with brushes and jags

Carbon Fiber Is The Way To Go

Tipton makes very good carbon fiber cleaning rods, you won't be disappointed with them. They are ridged yet flexible and wont hurt your muzzle crown. There is a lot of talk on the internet about aluminum & stainless steel cleaning rods that can or may damage the crown of gun barrels.. I am not sure what to believe but carbon cleaning rods have been out long enough that they have proven to work well for their purpose and hold up very well. The price of carbon cleaning rods are more expensive than rods of different materials but they are not so costly that it puts too much damage in your wallet. I would rather lean towards the cautious side and go with a carbon cleaning rod than find out I made a mistake some where down the road and possibly caused damage to an expensive gun.

This is the best on the market...I have several cal. sizes. They are well built with smooth bearings in the handle and a great value for the price...some other mfgs are close, but none better.

best cleaning rods

I never knew why anyone would pay so much for a cleaning rod. Now I know. I have owned several of they cheap ones. I will never waste money on the cheap ones again. I plan on buying more of these rods for all my firearms.

This is a great rod for the money. I've looked for these rods all over and this is the cheapest place to buy. These rods may be seem expensive but are worth every penny.
