Basically a good product, would have been 5 stars if Tipton had better QC: as received threaded end would not accept any 8-32 rod-end accessories. Good product
I have over a dozen of these in various calibers and lengths. I keep them at home, at the farm and in my truck. I absolutely love the bearing in the handle. This is a quality product I will not do wihout.

I love these rods
I have several of these in various calibers and lengths, 11 in all. I have not been disapointed in any of these rods. While forcing one I did break it and due to its carbon fiber construction it did leave sharp ends but other than my abuse they have been rock solid.

Awesome kit
As usual these rods are my go to cleaning utensils. These carbon fiber rods will not scuff or wear your firearms bore, rifling, chamber or crown. I now have two rods of almost all lengths and calibers. I find if I put a brush on one rod and jag on another I will thoroughly and properly clean my firearms. The free spinning handles are easy on hands and work properly for years to come.

A must for proper cleaning...A great investment.
Like all Tipton products this one is a must for proper gun care, along with the Tipton Bore guide accessory it makes rifle barrel cleaning a snap, I have used the cheap 3 piece rods for years but i finally got smart. My firearms deserve the best care and Tipton carbon fiber rods are the only way to go...well made, don't flex under heavy pressure, nice grip. a great investment.

Excellent Product
The Tipton Carbon Fiber Rod is everything it was advertised to do. No metal to scratch the bore of the barrel and won't bend out of shape. Good thing it does snap back to original shape since when I received it the cardboard tube had been damaged but not the rod. Would certain recommend it!

Nice, quality rifle cleaning rod
What can I say. This is my second Tipton rod and a little beefier than the .22 rod. Mainly for use in my Garand. This is a good quality rod. Haven't had any issues yet. Just worried a little after reading a review of a shattered rod. Hopefully he was wearing safety glasses. But you would have to put a lot of force to shatter this rod. You have to know when to ease off.

The length works perfectly on my Remington 700 with 26" barrel plus muzzle brake and using a bore guide. That's a lot of distance to travel and this one does it. It's thicker than my 36" Tipton rod, so the extra length doesn't cause it to flex and it fits the bore guide better. I also bought the Tipton 30cal brass jag that matches the rod tip perfectly.

Works better than expected.
I bought one longer than I needed and I am glad I did. The cleaning rod was purchased to use during barrel break in but it works so well I will be using it for regular cleaning of my 30 cal. It is a well made product and I plan to invest in a set to cover my other rifles.

Excellent Glass Cleaning Rod
Rod arrived on time and brand new. This is my 2nd Tipton rod; the other is a 44". Great strength and fits my .308 rifle barrel and Dewey bore guide perfectly.
