Tipton 1 piece cleaning rod
I love the Tiptons ball bearing design and when used with the Tipton bore guide it’s the best way to clean your rifle barrel. The reason I gave 4 stars is the OAL of the rod is misleading it should be by the cleaning length instead as you think the 26” rod Is long enough for most bolt action rifle barrels but no you need the 35” as the handle length is measured in with the rod so I had to get 2 AND pay attention to the caliber as you need 2 up to .26 caliber then one for .27 to 12 GA.

If you are looking for a great cleaning rod, tipton is the brand to buy. It is a coated very strong cleaning rod. I have several from pistol length to 40" for long rifles.

Tipton small caliber pistol cleaning Rod
Typical Tipton product works very well excellent quality! Bought for the wife’s .sig 322, . 22 practice pistol. I’m sure it will outlast us!! Thanks Tipton for another quality product!!

Tipton Carbon Fiber Rod
I have two of these cleaning rods and the Tipton bore guide kit. They all work perfectly. The bearing turns smoothly and I've not come across any negative features. I started using RamRodz cleaning swabs and the plastic jag attachment fits in these rods and work great, too.

No more clumsyness
I broke a few brass metal rods. Got tired of it. So this product spoke to my inner doctor. No more clumsyness and said goodbye to the old brute ways. I’m sadly one of the clumsy ones. With this product there is no more guess work, that is worth the price of admission.

Good quality product
This has proved to be a very good rod for cleaning my pistols. Grip is comfortable and easy to hold...even when hands are dirty/oily from solvent/oil. I recommend this product. As with most TIPTON products they seemed to have put in a fair amount of time with R&D to insure a quality product. The rod is carbon and will brake if forced too hard so use it wisely and it will last.

Awesome bore cleaner
Was looking for my fine presicion rifle, material keeps safe my barrel and length is enough for mines 24 inches long, had another choices but all were made of steel and they were pretty short .
This product combine with the Tipton Universal guide is a must for cleaning your fine rifle.
