Very convenient
Really convenient product for catching patches and not leaving a mess. Comes in extra handy at an outdoor range, especially when breaking in barrels and you're using a lot of patches. Catches them without them flying around in the wind and having to chase them down and pick them up. Cap the bottle when you're done and just toss away. Simple idea, but it works.

You don't have to worry about where patches fall, and all your cleaners and oils stay in bottle and not where ever they would have landed if you were not using this. After your done you just unscrew and throw away.

Great idea but have some limitations.
It's very good idea to have patch trap and keep your working space clear, because it helps to block any lubricants splashing when rod leaving barrel.
But, if you have high foresight, like AK, this patch trap could not be used without DIY customizations.
And you could not use this patch trap if you have short barrel and it ends close to hand guard.

Convenient
The Tipton Patch Trap works just as intended. It is very easy to use, you just attach a bottle and start having mess free firearm cleanings. It is a good product to bring with you to the range for cleaning your gun there.
