A very nice guide fits a number of rifles.
I use it on an aero Precision solace action. A must if you have a match barrel. Aligns the cleaning Rod perfectly centered down the barrel. Saves your throat.

Easy to use and keeps the solvent from getting into the action and trigger.

Out of the box this is obvious cheap garbage. Poorly engineered, cheaply manufactured garbage which will, if you are not *extremely* careful damage your bore. The "rapid" system doesn't work, the jag just pokes through the patch. If you pull the "Rapid" handle back to loosen its grip on the patch the patch then bunches up and will stick in the bore. Continual use just makes the system hold the patch even more, so it just gets worse. The components are made from cheap plastic that seems to react to bore and copper solvents or cheap metal. There are "ranges" instead of precision made guides for each caliber. Mine has "30-50" stamped on it. That's all you need to know. Either the idiots at Tipton have never seen a 30 cal next to a 50 cal, or they have and just don't care. Either way, this is an extraordinarily bad product and, unless you want total frustration and the distinct risk of damaging your bore due to the loose tolerances, poor quality manufacture and bad engineering you should avoid this like the plague. BTW, I don't believe the 5 star reviews are true at all. They seem seeded. If you don't believe me by all means, buy one and see for yourself.

A great kit that makes rifle cleaning so much easier in many respects. The Bore guide protects my chamber and barrel and lets me get on with the job of getting the muck out quickly, safely and without damaging my bore.

Excelent product, easy to use, highly recommend. Instructions are simple to follow and with the Tipton 1-Piece Fiber Cleaning Rod the task is quick with excellent results. The only thing it needs is stronger suction tubes. They don't last long. At least they provide two of them.

Not very useful. Complicated to set up, needs better instructions.

Was expecting more from Tipton. They are supposed to be top in their class but the quality of their materials and the fit of the pieces is simply okay, not by any means outstanding. I expect more from a company with their reputation for rifle cleaning solutions.

Good device but not the "wonder" I thought it would be. My expectations were too high. I'm big fan of Tipton products and expected more. Device is a little flimsy when inserted into Savage 30-06. Prevents solvents from running into bolt chamber but doesn't stay solid in chamber. Works well when using copper solvent to scrub barrel.
