Most Helpful Positive Review Unbreakable Slotted Tip
I have used the plastic slotted tips and every one of them has broken. When I found these solid brass ones I bought one for every caliber rifle I have and my one for my shotgun. Pros: solid brass construction, and smooth finish

Although there are several other manufacturers, I prefer Tipton because their product quality is consistently good or better and meets my expectations as it relates to form, fit, function and interchangeability. Considering that those traits are the very definition of Quality. Pretty slick. They promise and deliver great products!

Brass slotted tips

All the brass slotted tips are standard size fittings for any cleaning rod. They are such a huge improvement over the cheap plastic most cleaning kits now come standard with. These are hard to find in most sport stores so really happy Optics Planet carries these.

Great value

Using a slotted tip like this to clean your bores is much better than wrapping your bore brush with a swab - the cotton gets stuck to the bristles and over time the brush won't clean as well.
Pros: low price, won't scratch barrel
